What Is a Safety Syringe?
A safety syringe, which is sometimes referred to as a safety needle or retractable needle, is a type of syringe that is specially designed for extra safety when compared to traditional syringes and needles.

How Does a Safety Syringe Work?
The way in which safety syringes work is very similar to other sorts of syringes, but with one key difference: the retractable needle. So, when using a safety syringe, the needle punctures the skin as normal and helps to deliver the contents of the syringe into the body. But, after injection, the needle then retracts back into the body of the syringe. This vastly reduces the risk of any accidental injuries.
