CIA Medical Shipping Policy
When will my order be processed?
- Most orders placed before 12:30pm CST will be processed the same day.
- Orders placed after 12:30pm CST will be processed the next business day.
- Orders placed after 12:30pm CST on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or holidays will be processed the next business day.
Please note, shipping dates for special-order items are subject to lead times indicated on the individual product pages.
What shipping costs will be incurred? How is shipping calculated?
Price is based on the weight and dimensions of the products ordered. With close to one million medical SKUs in our catalog, we are constantly working to ensure that the dimensional data we have on file is accurate for every item. From time to time, an order may incur shipping fees in addition to what is quoted during checkout, and only in the event that CIA is charged significantly more for the cost of shipping than was estimated during checkout.
LTL freight shipping will be handled by our logistics department and shipped via truck, or rail, depending on customer instructions and requirements. Accounts will receive a follow-up call to confirm delivery information and additional preferences if this option is selected during checkout.
New accounts placing purchase order with the expectation of receiving credit terms will be delayed pending credit approval. In order to expedite the process, first register your account, and contact customer service at (312) 275-5850 to proceed with your credit application and account verification. Alternatively, a credit card may be used to expedite the delivery of your initial order.
CIA Medical Return Policy
Most stocked product provided by Central Infusion Alliance, Inc. is returnable within 30 days from the date of shipment. Non-stock, special order and manufacturer drop-ship items are not returnable, and often may not be cancelled once submitted.
In the event that a product return is the result of incorrectly-shipped or damaged goods, Central Infusion Alliance, Inc. will provide a full refund for the products in question, as well as inbound and outbound shipping fees.
In the event of customer error, product will be refunded upon receipt of the returned goods, minus shipping fees and a restocking fee, which is to be determined by manufacturer policy on a case by case basis, a percentage of the total product value in the event that the item is classified as a returnable item.
Certain items restricted by manufacturer return policy are nonreturnable and nonrefundable. Certain stocked items, governed by restrictive manufacturer delivery policy, once ordered may not be cancelled except in severe backorder situations and may incur significant cancellation fees of up to $50 per item if it may be cancelled. Should a customer wish to inquire as to the return or cancellation policy for a particular item prior to ordering, requests may be submitted to email@example.com.
