What Is a Medical Syringe?
Syringes are vital pieces of medical equipment, used for many purposes and procedures throughout the medical world. They come in a wide range of shapes, sizes, and forms, from hypodermic syringes to tuberculin syringes, flush syringes, Luer lock syringes, and bulb syringes.

How Does a Medical Syringe Work?
The way in which syringes are used will depend on what kind of syringe is being used and how it is being used. However, the procedure is generally quite similar, regardless of the type of syringe or the procedure in question. For example, for a vaccine injection, a syringe with a needle attached will first be lowered into a vial of the vaccine and the plunger will be used to draw it out. The needle can then pierce the skin of the patient and the plunger will be used once more to push the fluid into the patient’s bloodstream.
