Melker Universal Emergency Cricothyrotomy Catheter set

Used for emergency airway access when conventional endotracheal intubation cannot be performed.

The Melker Universal Cricothyrotomy Catheter Tray features devices for both surgical and Seldinger techniques that place freedom of choice and control into the clinicians hands. Designed to establish emergency airway access via the cricothyroid membrane for cannot intubate, cannot ventilate situations.

#1 Surgical Technique

This method incorporates a soft, blunted dilator with the Melker Cuffed Cricothyrotomy catheter, following the creation of the tracheal stoma.

#2 Seldinger Technique

Utilizes an entry needle, wire guide and dilator for a percutaneous insertion of the airway catheter.

Safety Scalpel

Creates a precise incision for creation of stoma. Safety feature may help protect physician from accidental sticks.

Tracheal Hook

Grasps and elevates the cricothyroid cartilage, allowing more control during airway placement.

Trousseau Dilator

Dilates by spreading stoma.

Curved Blunt Dilator

Blunt-tipped dilator prevents snagging at stoma site and posterior tracheal wall damage.
