The ShortShot Saeed Hemorrhoidal MultiBand Ligator with TriView Anoscope is used to ligate internal hemorrhoids facilitated by an anoscope, for use in adult patients only.

Contraindications

  • Contraindications include those specific to primary anoscope procedure to be performed in gaining access to desired banding site.
  • Contraindications specific to hemorrhoidal banding include, but are not limited to: coagulopathy, anal stricture, and active inflammatory bowel disease in the distal rectum.
  • Use of ligation bands is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to latex.
