ShortShot Saeed Hemorrhoidal Multi-Band Ligator with TriView Anoscope
The ShortShot Saeed Hemorrhoidal MultiBand Ligator with TriView Anoscope is used to ligate internal hemorrhoids facilitated by an anoscope, for use in adult patients only.
- Preloaded for multiple hemorrhoidal ligations in a single procedure
- TriView anoscope with positioning slots to help optimize anatomical positioning of hemorrhoids
- Only a single insertion of an anoscope is required, which potentially decreases patient discomfort and procedure time

This device is designed for single use only. Attempts to reprocess, sterilize, and/or reuse may lead to device failure and/or transmission of disease. Visually inspect with particular attention to joints, cracks or breaks. If an abnormality is detected that would prohibit proper working condition, do not use. Notify Cook for return authorization. Store in a dry location, at room temperature.
Contraindications
- Contraindications include those specific to primary anoscope procedure to be performed in gaining access to desired banding site.
- Contraindications specific to hemorrhoidal banding include, but are not limited to: coagulopathy, anal stricture, and active inflammatory bowel disease in the distal rectum.
- Use of ligation bands is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to latex.
