C.R. Bard 0102L22 - Lubricath Catheter Foley Medium Coude Olive Tip Rubber/Hydrophilic Coated 22Fr 5cc 16" Red Urethral 2-Way Sterile 1 Drainage Eye Specialty Disposable 12/Case

Bard 0102L22 Lubricath, 2-Way, Specialty, Tiemann Model, Medium Olive Coude Tip, Single Drainage Eye

The Bardex Lubricath Foley catheters are 2-way latex catheters with a hydrogel coating. They are available in multiple balloon and tip configurations.

Lubricath is a type of intermittent catheter that features a hydrophilic coating designed to make insertion smoother and more comfortable for the patient. Unlike traditional catheters, Lubricath catheters do not require additional lubricating gel or water for insertion.

  • Multiple Sizes: 12-30 Fr.
  • Different Tip Configurations: Coude and straight.

The hydrophilic coating on Lubricath catheters becomes slippery when exposed to water or moisture, allowing for easy and frictionless insertion into the urethra. This coating helps reduce discomfort and potential irritation during catheterization.

Lubricath catheters are typically made from materials such as latex or silicone and are available in various sizes to suit different patient needs. They are commonly used for intermittent catheterization in individuals with urinary retention, urinary incontinence, or those who have undergone certain medical procedures that require the bladder to be emptied.
