The DeRoyal H2No Suction and Fatigue Mat is not intended to be used for reintroducing bodily fluid back into the body. This system is not recommended for pleural drainage.

Directions for Use of Deroyal H2NO Suction & Anti-Fatigue Mat

  • Remove H2No Suction and Fatigue Mat from poly bag and place on a clean and dry floor.
  • Unfold the absorbent mat for control of fluid that is not captured by the H2No Suction and Fatigue Mat.
  • Orient the mat where the channels run towards the operating room table and the tubing is closest, running parallel, to the table
  • Use non-sterile suction tubing to create suction from the mat to the waste fluid management system, canisters or capital equipment.
  • Make sure the mat is positioned to effectively catch the flow of the fluid off of the drapes. The ideal method would be to take a hemostat, or clamp, and position to make a channel for fluid to run smoothly on the mat
