The Versaport Plus V2 Trocar with fixation Cannula offers superior fixation and port stability as compared to other leading competitive trocars. The V2 improves fixation, reduces trocar slippage and may minimize inadvertent removal of the trocar during surgery. The Versaport V line of trocars have a spring loaded parabolic entry shield which helps dilate tissue. Upon entry into a free space in the abdominal cavity, the shield advances to cover the blade reducing potential for injury to internal structures.

1.What is the difference between the VERSAPORT Plus V2 and VERSAPORT Plus RPF systems?
The differences are in the obturators. The cannula's and seal housings are essentially the same. RPF has a prymidal blade and conventional saftey shield, where as the V2 has a V shaped blade and Parabolic shaped saftey shield.
